About the CNTC Group
The Colorado Nonprofit Technology and Communications Group (CNTC) is a collaboration of local nonprofits and technology providers to meet socially, share resources and best practices, and to give free, no-sales, informative workshops to nonprofit organizations.
We are working to improve the use of technology within nonprofit organizations in Colorado. That doesn't always mean more technology -- often it means less. It means better understanding, fewer headaches, and making technology less of a drain on nonprofits' capacity for doing good work.
We are not a membership organization with dues and an extensive org chart. Rather, we're a loose collective of folks who share similar work and passions, and want to share and learn from one another. We aren't the Colorado group of NTEN, nor are we the local NetSquared organization. However, we have many of the same interests and goals, and many of the folks involved with CNTC are members of one or both.
The organizers are:
- Mike Fatica, Fatica Consulting
- Ted Fickes, The Wilderness Society
- Jennifer Frazier, Firefly Partners
- Steve Kessler, Denver DataMan
- Anne Pogoriler, Colorado Environmental Coalition
- Corey Snipes, Twomile Information Services
Response to our efforts has been tremendous. We've begun work with these great area organizations to combine efforts for promoting useful information and events:
- The Alliance Center at The Alliance for Sustainable Colorado
- CivicPixel
- The Colorado Health Foundation
- Deproduction / Denver Open Media
- KidsTek
- Teaming 4 Technology
- The YWCA of Boulder County
If you know of others who would be a good fit, please let us know!
