Ever wanted to find out Colorado’s birth statistics statewide? How about cancer rates? Maybe population data?
Well now you can! Check out coloradoopendata.org

Open Colorado is an online source of government data that each and every Colorado citizen can access. Their slogan “liberating public data for private use” really says it all. The goal of Open Colorado is to make the plethora of public government data, well, public!

This project was built and continues to grow through Colorado Smart Communities (CSC). CSC refers to themselves as a “think tank, educational resource, and open source tech community.” With these ideas in mind, CSC is striving to make Colorado government more open and accessible to the public through technology. By utilizing technology and open source, we can build our communities and work with each other.
